Marine Communications

In the 1970s and 80s, it was said that most people who quit the cruising life do not do so because of storms, pirates, or discomfort. They quit due to difficulty collecting mail, making phones, and in general, keeping in touch with friends and family.

In 2009, that has all changed. Communications is just as important, but much easier.
